{"id":1287,"date":"2023-06-29T14:15:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-29T13:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.retrofitguru.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=1287"},"modified":"2026-10-24T20:23:06","modified_gmt":"2026-10-24T19:23:06","slug":"octavia-2-bixenon-set","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/retrofitguru.com\/en\/produkt\/octavia-2-bixenon-set\/","title":{"rendered":"Octavia 2 04 - 13 | Bi-xenon kit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our retrofit kit for <strong>\u0160koda<\/strong> <strong>Octavia 2 prefacelift<\/strong> (2004-2013) contains everything you need to replace the original xenon projectors (xenon only illuminates low beam) to a much <strong>more powerful bi-xenon<\/strong> projectors (xenon lights for low beam and high beam) with keeping the original adjustment and automatic levelling of the lights.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main advantages of our bi-xenon projectors<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Multiply stronger light output\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A high beam source will be added, the original high beams may or may not be retained. It's up to you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Projectors are unlike the original <strong>made from<\/strong> <strong>aluminium<\/strong>so that it won't warp or burn even after years. At the same time, they also help to better dissipate heat, which makes the projector chrome has a longer life than the original lights.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The projector's aperture is laser cut to achieve the most accurate light refraction. At the same time, it does not let any light above the refraction, so it does not glare on oncoming vehicles.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Projectors have <strong>crystal clear lens<\/strong>which is used for maximum brightness and leaves a blue coloured refraction.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a simple conversion that even complete beginners can handle. The lights need to have the Plexiglas glass unglued, but they are factory sealed with butyl, so it's relatively easy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set<\/span>\u00a0is composed to be completely <strong>Plug &amp; Play<\/strong>, which means that there is no need to modify anything for the installation. We also create for each car <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QDpy7dWrNe0\"><strong>video tutorial<\/strong><\/a>who will guide you through the installation, or we can help you with the installation via phone, email or social networks.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Included in the set are two bi-xenon projectors, cables from the aperture solenoids, lamp holders, four adapters (two for each light), butyl cord to seal the plexiglass, all necessary fasteners for installation, self-tapping couplers to connect to the original driving lights.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The projector fits the original D1S xenon lamps, so there is no need to purchase new ones for the conversion. LEDs with D1S socket can also be used.<\/p>\n<p>For perfect luminosity you also need to have the plexiglass in good condition. Cracked or yellowed plexiglass refracts the light and this can cause glare from oncoming vehicles and will also significantly reduce luminosity.
